Jake Peavy took a perfect game into the 7th inning last night against the Mets.  A game that had dueling no hitters into the 7th inning.

Peavy didn't lose his perfect game due to lack of effort by his Giants teammates.  As you can see with this long run and sliding catch by Hunter Pence, they were going all out.

Adam Dunn is definitely not know for his speed.  Despite this fact Red Sox pitcher and former White Sox teammate Jake Peavy decided to keep Dunn close to first, just in case maybe.  Dunn did have a whole step off of first lead.

Ryan Braun was booed loudly in his first at bat in Boston.  Braun of course returning from his PED suspension finally received the introduction he deserved.  Jake Peavy held up his end of the bargain by striking out the cheater.

Jake Peavy was roughed up on Wednesday giving up 7 runs in 3+ innings of work.  Jim Leyland shook up the Tigers lineup for game 4 and it appears to have worked as the Tigers never looked back after the 7 runs in the first 3 innings and evened the series 2 game to 2, beating the Red Sox 7-3.
