The ESPN layoffs have started.  NFL reporter Ed Werder was one of those who got laid off.

Ed announced his lay off this morning, because nothing is sacred anymore.  Lucky for us, Ed has no plans to retire.

Someone is going to have to show Ed how to take the ESPN off his Twitter handle.

DeMarco Murray is getting his wish.  The Eagles are trading the disgruntled running back.  But he's not heading back to Dallas.

After striking out in free agency and letting 2/3 of the receiving corps walk away, then cutting the remain 1/3, the Panthers are actually thinking of acquiring DeSean Jackson from the Eagles?  According to Ed Werder they are.

Ed Werder also said on SportsCenter that the #Panthers "might entertain the idea" of trying to trade for DeSean Jackson.
