Matthew Stafford Puts Up 35 On The Saints And Does The Ray Lewis

Matthew Stafford of the #Lions breaks out the Ray Lewis dance... and does it remarkably well. @TheCauldron pic.twitter.com/LovVQexFc8
— RN's Funhouse (@RNs_Funhouse) December 22, 2015
In one of the most meaningless games of the season the Lions put up 35 on the Saints to win the game. During the postgame interview with the MNF crew Matthew Stafford was asked to break out the Ray Lewis and he nailed it.
Take that Drew Brees! With all your stupid records on a crappy team.
I wonder if Stafford saw the tape of the guys trashing the entire Lions franchise before the game. Especially that mush head Steve Young.
Probably not because he did their stupid postgame interview.

Eli Manning Completely Ignored Luke McCown Following The Giants Loss To The Saints
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Eli Manning and Drew Brees had a record day on Sunday. Brees threw for 7 touchdowns and Manning threw for 6 in an epic shootout that was settled with a last second field goal.
The Saints won the game 52-49, because no matter what the Giants do they will find a way to lose.
After the game Saints backup quarterback, Luke McCown, tried to get a handshake from Manning. Eli was having none of it and it's one of the funniest things you'll see.

What The Hell Was Drew Brees Doing On Sunday

Don't tell Drew Brees he's not part of the team today pic.twitter.com/1upsDSReuz
— Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) September 27, 2015
Drew Brees didn't play on Sunday and there might have been more going on than a bruised rotator cuff. I think he needs to be checked for a possible head injury.
I get it, he doesn't know how to just stand there and watch, because he's never missed a game due to injury. But come on. He was breaking the huddle as if he was on the field.
Is this really Drew Brees or his twin with special needs? Seriously get a freaking grip you're not playing.

Sean Payton Denies Reports That Drew Brees Could Miss Several Games
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Saints head coach Sean Payton went on a radio show on Monday night and said the report that Drew Brees could miss several games were inaccurate. During his weekly appearance on the show he said they would have a better idea of Brees' condition on Wednesday, via New Orleans Saints:
Whenever you have an MRI there is something going on.
"I would say his report is inaccurate. Wednesday we will have a better idea. We will be smart. I thought coming off the game, it’s a tough loss for everyone. You lose your home opener in a division game. Drew battled and hung in there. He took some hits. We will have a better feel on Wednesday with where he is at. (Bobby) knows as well as anyone, he’s going to be a competitor and he’s going to be smart about it. I think we will have a better idea come Wednesday. I would definitely say that. I read the report you are discussing and I would say that’s inaccurate.”Payton is probably putting on one of those coach bluffs. Because Brees was injured and is at least facing the possibility of being out for an extended period of time.

The NFL Took A Shot At Brady With Super Bowl 50 Tweet
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
The NFL tweeted out a picture promoting Super Bowl 50. The tweet included a picture of some of the NFL's top quarterbacks.
It didn't include last year's Super Bowl winner Tom Brady.
Of course the NFL deleted the tweet, because they're cowards. They have Carson Palmer and Drew Brees on there, but left Brady off?

Drew Brees Shocked By Jimmy Graham Trade
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Drew Brees said he was shocked by the Jimmy Graham trade, as most of us were. Brees of course has a little more to be upset about as he just lost one of his best offensive weapons. He has to be questioning what is going on with his team at this point.
Drew Brees reaction to Jimmy Graham trade same as many around the nfl. Brees tells me, "I'm as shocked as everyone else. I love the guy".
— Alex Flanagan (@Alex_Flanagan) March 10, 2015
I'm not sure what the Saints are planning to do, but it would seem as if winning in 2015 isn't on the top of the list and that is surprising given the age of their quarterback. Sure Graham had a rough season for him, but there is nothing to indicate that he won't bounce right back in 2015.
If you're a Seattle fan you have to be very excited to see what Russell Wilson will be able to do with such a dominate pass catcher. He's already made it to two straight Super Bowls and he hasn't had a weapon anywhere close to the skills that Graham brings.
Should be an interesting season.

Drew Brees And Norah O'Donnell Talking Balls Made My Day
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest

There are few things that are funnier than talking about balls. It's just a simple fact that balls are funny, so it would make sense that I would have a hard time not laughing at Drew Brees and Norah O'Donnell talking about balls. Brees seems to find it a little funny, smurking at times, but Norah just plowed straight ahead saying that they had two balls the other day and she could tell the difference.
This is the stuff that CBS is spending a ton of money to talk about, via Busted Coverage:

Drew Brees Critical of Roger Goodell Wants a New Disciplinary System
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest

Drew Brees spoke out on the NFL and Roger Goodell's handling of disciplinary issues over the past few years. Brees is obviously referring to the "Bounty Gate" scandal that the Saints were involved in, in addition to the Ray Rice situation.
Brees' message was pretty clear, he had this to say about what he thinks the system should be- "You want due process. You want a fair process. You want a transparent process."

Drew Brees Got Destroyed and Threw a Fit
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Captain Munnerlyn sacked Drew Brees and he couldn't take it. I guess he was tackled too hard and couldn't take it, because quarterbacks aren't playing the same game everyone else on the field is.
The referees agreed with Brees beacuse Munnerlyn was flagged for the hit.

John Lynch Thinks Alex Smith is Up There With Peyton Manning and Drew Brees
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest

John Lynch said Alex Smith is up there with Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.
I wish I was kidding. But it has luckily been forever captured in a vine so it will repeat on forever.
It appears as if Lynch's playing days and all those tackles he made with his head, have caught up to him. How else do you explain such a silly comment?

Drew Brees Hit a Frisbee with a Football
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
I'm on the fence as to whether this is impressive or not. So Drew Brees can hit a frisbee with a football. I may or may not be able to as well, but I'm not an NFL quarterback. I would expect an elite passer to be able to do such things.
Either way someone recorded it and now there is internet chum for us to feed on, enjoy.

35 Year Old Drew Brees Thinks He Can Play Until He's 45
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Is it wrong for 35 year old Drew Brees to think he can play another 10 years? I don't know if it's wrong but is it realistic? Brees thinks so, via NFL.com:
"No doubt. There's no question," Brees said, in a private moment. "I'm not getting ahead myself, like it's a pipe dream, at 45. I understand the challenges that come along with that. But why not? If I can stay healthy, and I'm having fun and playing at a high level, why wouldn't I wanna do that? The biggest challenge is physically, the maintenance, the recovery, the way you train. You gotta hope that you stay healthy, but why not?"

Seahawks Beat Down Saints
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
The Seahawks beat the Saints on Monday night football by the score of 34-7. The Seahawks are now 11-1 and have already clinched a playoff spot. That's right 12 games through there schedule and they've already clinched a spot.
Everyone except the Saints knew that Seattle was going to beat them. Russell Wilson has never lost a home game and the solid defense proved to much for Drew Brees and the Saints.
The loss makes next weeks showdown for the Saints a huge game as they face the Carolina Panthers who are now even with them with a 9-3 record a top the NFC south.

Ray Lewis Offers to Pay Half of Ahmad Brooks' Fine
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Ahmad Brooks was fined after being penalized for a forearm across Drew Brees' chest. The call and the fine are BS! Ray Lewis agrees and has offered to pay half of the fine levied against Brooks.
