Someone Get Joe Buck Some New Underwear The Royals Won The World Series
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
The best team Joe Buck has ever seen in his 18 years of covering the World Series won it. I'm afraid the excitement was too much and Buck needs some new underwear.
The Royals tied the game in the 9th, after Matt Harvey begged to stay in the game, and then won it with a 5 run 12th. A 12th inning that was helped along by another Daniel Murphy error.
Please send Joe Buck some new underwear at your earliest convenience!

The Mets Dropped Game 4
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
The Mets entered the top of the 8th inning with a 3-2 lead. After Tyler Clippard allowed two runners to reach base a costly error by Mets postseason hero, Daniel Murphy, allowed the tying run to score.
Mets closer Jeurys Familia, who had come into the game before the Murphy error, then allowed two more runs to score.
Game 4 was a huge game in the series and the Mets have a lot of work to do if they're going to comeback from 3-1 deficit.

Daniel Murphy Received The NLCS MVP Award

Daniel Murphy received the NLCS MVP Award. Because who else was it going to go to? The man hit .529 with 4 homeruns and 6 RBIs.
Overall for the entire postseason he's hitting .421 with 7 homeruns and 11 RBIs. I think it's safe to say that, along with some strong pitching, the Mets are riding Murphy's hot bat right into the World Series.
We'll have to wait and see if he can continue at this pace.

Daniel Murphy Hit His 6th Homerun In 6 Games

Daniel Murphy hit a two run homerun in the 8th inning of game 4. The homerun was his 6th homerun in 6 straight postseason games. A new postseason record.
The Mets second baseman is hitting completely out of his mind this postseason and will likely ride this to a big payday in the off season. That's right, Murphy is a free agent this off season.

Daniel Murphy Homered For The 5th Straight Game

Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy is having himself a postseason. He's now hit a homerun in five straight postseason games, tying the record held by a guy who knows a lot about making money off of a postseason, Carlos Beltran.
Cashing in on this postseason exactly what Murphy is expected to do. Especially if he continues to be this red hot at the plate.
The Mets are one win away from reaching a World Series.

Curtis Granderson Robbed A Cubs Homerun

The Mets have been riding the hot bat of Daniel Murphy this postseason. He did hit a homerun in the game, but the defense has been playing well too.
Curtis Granderson robbed what would have been a homerun early in game two. A game the Mets won 4-1 to take a 2-0 series lead.

Daniel Murphy hit a solo homerun in the top of the 6th inning off of Zack Greinke that proved to be the game winner. It was the last run of the series and sent the Dodgers home.
The Mets now face the Cubs in a NLCS matchup that features a ton of young talent.

That's going to leave a mark! Murphy's HR ball literally has his name on it. #Beast #LGM #Mets pic.twitter.com/u2Vl4LKjgb

The solo homerun Daniel Murphy hit off of Clayton Kershaw in game 1 was literally tattooed. The Mets posted a picture of the ball on Twitter and you can see Murphy's name from his bat imprinted on the ball. That's smoking a ball right there.

Daniel Murphy With An Unreal No Look Flip To The Covering Pitcher

Jeff Francouer smashed a ball that ricocheted off of Mets pitcher Carlos Torres and toward Daniel Murphy at first base. Murphy smothered it and with his back to first base flipped towards the bag hitting Torres in stride as he covered the bag.
As you can tell by the announcers reaction it was a hell of a play. The play ended the inning sending the tied game further into extra innings.

Boomer Esiason and Mike Francesa Criticize Daniel Murphy's Paternity Leave
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Boomer Esiason and his meat head co host criticize Daniel Murphy for paternity leave. I wonder what Mrs. Esiason would say.
They weren't the only ones. Mike Francesa also had something to say about his decision to be with his family after child birth.
