Billy Hamilton can run.  Fast.  That's the only reason he's in the show.  He covered some real estate to make this catch.

I'm not completely sure if this is a showcase of Billy Hamilton's speed or a showcase of how bad the Marlins are.  I'm going to go with a little of both.

Hamilton is singlehandedly bringing back the art of the stolen base, he now has 44 stolen bases on the season and this is the last weekend before the All Star break.  The stolen base can change games.

It is also a lesson to catchers.  If you're going to toss a ball back to your pitcher without putting any effort into it with a fast runner on second they will eventually time it and take third.

Brandon Phillips checked his swing on a 3-2 pitch in the dirt.  As he took his base the Phillies threw down to first, thinking they had a strike out with the third strike being in the dirt and requiring a throw to first to complete the out.

When the catcher threw to first for what he thought was the third out of the inning, Billy Hamilton, who stole his way to third, raced home for a run.  Thus completing a steal of second, third and home.

Look how old the Phillies look, how gross and old the Phillies look.

Baseball fans are getting to know Billy Hamilton, especially for his speed.  But the Cincinnati Reds speedster shows he has some unreal athletic ability too.  After laying down a bunt look at his unreal ability to avoid what normally is a sure out.

Cincinnati Red's speed phenom, Billy Hamilton, put his incredible speed on display yesterday.  Hamilton hit a routine ground ball to the first baseman and beat him to the bag for an infield hit.  Just incredible!  I once saw Dieon Sanders ground a ball to the short stop and beat the throw, but to the first basemen?  That's unheard of.
