Check Out Rap Sheet Owning Schefter Minutes After An SportsCenter Tweet
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
It's been a rough week for Schefter. First he interviewed and then believed Greg Hardy and now he has Ian Rapoport taking him out within minutes of a SportsCenter tweet about the Broncos and Johnny Manziel.
It's hard out here on them streets. This is the Allen Iverson step over of Tyronn Lue in NFL nerd form.

Steve Smith Isn't Buying Greg Hardy's Bullshit
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Unlike Adam Schefter, Greg Hardy's former teammate Steve Smith doesn't buy his bullshit story. Smith took to twitter and asked if the victim "tripped on the carpet or something?"
Holy Shit Adam Schefter Believes Greg Hardy
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Adam Schefter was asked by Dan Patrick if he believed Greg Hardy's claim that he never put a finger on his accuser. After a long pause Schefter says, "it doesn't matter what I believe."

Greg Hardy Still Claims He's Never Hit A Woman
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
When it comes to Greg Hardy's domestic violence accusations his strategy seems to be deny, deny, deny and then deny some more. The free agent defensive lineman sat down with ESPN's Adam Schefter and gave one of the dumbest interviews in the history of interview.
I mean this is some next level shit right here, via ESPN:
Hardy: “I’ve never put my hand on ANY women … In my whole entire life, No Sir. That’s just not how we’re raised. As you can tell, like I said again, it’s the Bible belt. It’s just something that’s, I wouldn’t even say frowned upon, just something that’s nonexistent in most southern homes.”

Odell Beckham Jr. Likely To Be Suspended For One Game
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, a suspension of Odell Beckham Jr. is being discussed by the NFL. The NFL league source told Schefter a one game suspension is likely.
It looks like Beckham's behavior is going to hurt the Giants in two games. Imagine if he would have controlled himself and just lined up and played.
We learned absolutely nothing about how good Josh Norman is because ODB refused to line up and just play at the beginning of the game.
Well we did learn one thing about Norman, he's got one hell of a chin.
NFL discussing discipline for Odell Beckham Jr. this morning, but based on conversations with league sources, a 1-game suspension is likely.

The Detroit Lions Are Firing Everyone
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Just a few days after the Detroit Lions fired their offensive coordinator they're at it again. And no head coach Jim Caldwell wasn't fired. Instead the Lions have pink slipped the GM and president.
Talk about everything crashing in around you. The 1-7 Lions are on their bye week and have decided to make changes before the second half.
How does Jim Caldwell still have a job? Remember this team was a playoff team last year.

Le'Veon Bell Has A Torn MCL Likely Out For The Season
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Le'Veon Bell injured his knee while he was tackled against the Bengals on Sunday. The way the defender landed on his knee and the awkward way Bell's knee bent we knew he probably had a significant injury.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the initial MRI on Bell revealed a badly torn MCL. Meaning his season will be over.

Reggie Wayne In New England Taking A Physical
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Adam Schefter is reporting that former Colts receiver Reggie Wayne is in New England Taking a physical for the Patriots.
If Wanye ends up on the Patriots it would just add to the rivalry. On the other hand if your team could use some help at receiver, either through preseason injury or lack of depth, then you're hoping a deal doesn't get done.
Looking at you Panthers. Why not add a veteran to a thin position, especially after Kelvin Benjamin went down?
Sure Wayne has lost a step, but obviously he can still catch the ball.
Former Colts WR Reggie Wayne arrived in New England last night and is taking a physical with the Patriots today, per league sources.

Brady's Agent Calls The Appeals Process A Sham
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Don Yee, Tom Brady's Agent, released a statement following the NFL's decision to uphold Brady's suspension. He accurately calls the appeals process a sham.
There is absolutely no way that a court upholds the suspension. If they do they would be saying that Greg Hardy and Brady's situations deserve the same punishment.
Adam Schefter posted it on Facebook.

Jason Pierre Paul Had His Right Index Finger Amputated Today
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
According to Adam Schefter, ESPN somehow obtained Jason Pierre Paul's medical record. It indicates that JPP had his right index finger amputated today.
Damn. That sucks for him and how did ESPN get access to this? Someone is getting fired at that medical facility.

Adam Schefter Revealed On ESPN That Other Teams Deflated Balls Last Season
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest

During ESPN's coverage of Tom Brady's deflategate appeal, Adam Schefter revealed that he personally knows about other deflators. He said he knows a long snapper who uses a paper clip to let air out of the balls before he snaps them and a backup quarterback who deflates footballs for the starting QB.
Why is Schefter just now revealing this? I'm not at all surprised by it because if one team is doing it others are, via Barstool Sports:

NFL Suspends Tom Brady For Four Games And Fines Pats $1 Million Dollars
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
The NFL has laid down the punishment for Tom Brady and the Patriots and according to Adam Schefter it's four games for Brady and two draft picks and $1 million dollars for the Patriots.
It seems a little excessive for an alleged offense that doesn't even matter and had absolutely no effect on the outcome on any games. I guess safe to say the Roger Goodell-Robert Kraft friendship is over.
Filed to ESPN: Tom Brady suspended four games, Pats lose 1st round pick in 2016 and a 4th in 2017, and team fined $1 million, per source:
