Former MLB Pitcher Roy Halladay Killed In Plane Crash In Gulf Of Mexico


The plane registered to former MLB pitcher Roy Halladay crashed in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday.   One person was killed, via 10 News:

One person was killed Tuesday after a plane registered to eight-time All-Star and two-time Cy Young award winner Roy Halladay crashed into the Gulf of Mexico.

Halladay's ICON A5 light sport aircraft crashed 10 miles west of St. Petersburg at about 1 p.m., the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

It has been confirmed that Roy Halladay was the person killed in the crash.
