Ben Roethlisberger Couldn't Sleep Last Night And It Wasn't Because The Steelers Lost To The Bears

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said on his website that he couldn't sleep last night.  It wasn't because his team laid an egg and lost to the lowly Chicago Bears.

Nope.  Big Ben couldn't sleep because the Steelers made a decision to remain in the tunnel during the National Anthem, while veteran and offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva broke ranks and stood for the anthem, via BigBen7.com:

I was unable to sleep last night and want to share my thoughts and feelings on our team’s decision to remain in the tunnel for the National Anthem yesterday. The idea was to be unified as a team when so much attention is paid to things dividing our country, but I wish we approached it differently. We did not want to appear divided on the sideline with some standing and some kneeling or sitting.

The move worked out for Villanueva, who now has the highest selling jersey over the last 24 hours.  Maybe Ben should be a little more worried about the L.
