MSESPN Pulls Broadcaster Robert Lee From Virginia Game

MSESPN pulled broadcaster Robert Lee from the Virginia football game he was set to call because his name is Robert Lee.

He is in no way connected to Robert E. Lee, the confederate general whose statue removal led to the protests in Charlottesville.

Here is MSESPN's ridiculous statement on Lee being moved from the broadcast:

"We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It’s a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play-by-play for a football game has become an issue."

Why stop there MSESPN?  Should you even employ a guy with the name Robert Lee?  You're clearly a confederate sympathizers for hiring him.
