Tampa Bay Catcher Wilson Ramos Took A Broken Bat To The Head

Tampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos had to leave yesterday's game to receive staples in his head after a broken bat hit his helmet.  I guess the helmet is more of a symbolic gesture than a protective measure.

It ain't easy squatting behind the plate during a baseball game.  No wonder catchers keep getting concussions, they're not wearing an actual helmet.
