Gareon Conley's Lawyer Now Says His Client And His Accuser Had A "Consensual Sexual Event"

Former Ohio State corner Gareon Conley, who was drafted by the Raiders in the first round despite rape accusations that surfaced prior to the draft, now says through his lawyer there was a "consensual sexual event" with the accuser.

According to multiple reports Conley met with police and was expected to submit a DNA sample.  Ian Rapoport is reporting that his lawyer admitted to a "consensual sexual event" but added the accuser's version of the night is not accurate.

Way to go Oakland.  You took a guy in the first round who may or may not be wrapped up in a legal battle for an alleged sexual assault.
