A Dirty Play Leads To A Bench Clearing Brawl During A Minor League Baseball Game

Things got interesting between the West Michigan Whitecaps and Dayton Dragons on Sunday night.  A dirty play led to some pushing and shoving which led to a bench clearing brawl.

It all started when Dayton's Jose Siri stole second base, how dare he.  After the stolen bases the West Michigan shortstop, Danny Pinero, clearly stepped on Siri's leg for no reason at all.

From there things got out of hand and the two players were eventually tossed.  Now I checked the unwritten rules and I couldn't find the one where you intentionally step on a runner's leg after a play.

That one must reside in the dirty play rule book for assholes.
