Curt Schilling Negotiated His Contract With The Red Sox Using The Book "Negotiating For Dummies"

This might be the best Curt Schilling story ever told.  Forget Schilling's fake bloody sock and all his talk about how attractive kids are.

This story about the time he negotiated his contract with the Red Sox is the best.

Cubs GM Theo Epstein was a guest on the popular podcast Pardon My Take.  During the podcast Theo told the story of when he was with the Red Sox and they signed Curt Schilling.

According to Theo, Schilling negotiated that contract using the book Negotiating for Dummies:

"So we reach a deal.  We're happy with it and we go back to print it out in his little home office.  We were using his computer and his printer to print it out and there on his desk is a well-worn dog-eared copy of the book Negotiating for Dummies.  Every time he was pretending to go to the bathroom, he was running back and looking at that book."

The legend of Curt Schilling continues to grow.  How does he not have a reality show yet?
