Anthony Rendon Erased A Forgettable April With An Unforgettable Day


Washington Nationals infielder Anthony Rendon entered Sunday with a .226 batting average with no homeruns and five RBIs on the young season.  He would top all of those numbers in a 23-5 blowout win over the Mets.

Rendon went 6-6 with three homeruns and ten RBIs.  The unforgettable day wiped away his forgettable April.

Rendon is now hitting .278 with three homeruns and fifteen RBIs.  Dude had himself a day.
