New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, is a huge Mets fan and was a guest on Baseball Night in New York to discuss the Phillies theft of the Mets stupid rally cry "you gotta believe."
In between smashing handfuls of M&Ms, Christie trashed the Phillies and their fans for taking the Mets rally cry.
"The Phillies suck. They're an awful team. They're an angry bitter fan base. It's not safe for civilized people to go to Citizens Bank Park if you want to root for the other team."
"You gotta believe what? You gotta believe we're awful people, that's what you gotta believe."
It’s good to see the Mets are worried about rally cries instead of you know winning the NL East. I know, even if they manage to win the NL East, they'll blow it in the postseason. Because as we all know the Mets are trash.
