NFL To Investigate The Seahawks For Not Reporting Richard Sherman's Knee Injury

Pete Carroll was a guest on the 710 ESPN Seattle show Brock and Salk on Monday when he revealed that corner Richard Sherman had played half of the season with a significant knee injury.  You can hear his portion of the show at the 22 Minute Mark:

The only problem with Sherman playing the season with a knee injury is he never appeared on the injury report with a knee injury.  That's a big no-no in the NFL's eyes.

Reports are the NFL might be looking into why Sherman wasn't on the injury report.

In his season ending press conference on Tuesday he claimed he didn't realize they never reported Sherman's injury, via The Seattle Times:

“Honestly, I didn’t realize we hadn’t revealed it,’’ Carroll said of the knee injury during his press conference, an injury he referred to as “legit,” which is how he generally describes significant injuries.

Likely story.  Time to investigate, turned all the way up to Deflategate level.  The integrity of the game is on the line Roger.
