Ben Roethlisberger Does His Best Brett Favre

No he didn't send a picture of his little Ben to a Steelers employee.  Not that we know of anyway.

Big Ben is considering retirement.

I doubt the Steelers have an Aaron Rodgers waiting in the wings and according to Pro Football Talk, he'd have to pay over $18 million back to the team:

Signed through 2019, Roethlisberger would be walking away from $12 million in 2017, $17 million in 2018, and $17 million in 2019. Perhaps most importantly, he’d owe the team $18.6 million if he quits now, $12.4 million a year from now, and $6.2 million in 2019 in signing bonus money that previously was paid to him.

Maybe Ben is trying to send a message to his GM about beefing up the Steelers defense.  Or maybe the message is to Le'Veon Bell, who didn't play through a groin injury on Sunday.  We know Ben plays through all kinds of injuries.

I hope there is a tearful retirement press conference followed by a just kidding I'm still going to play one.
