Cruz had previously condemned Colin Kaepernick's National Anthem protest. So kneeling during the National Anthem is worth condemnation, but not beating women?
Cruz's comments following the Giants practice on Thursday supported Brown while referring to wife beating as "an unfortunate situation."
Via NJ.com: "Obviously, it is an unfortunate situation for all parties," wide receiver Victor Cruz said after Thursday's practice. "But as a teammate, I am behind Josh Brown. I just want him to get himself right and make sure that he is able to overcome these things. It is not an easy thing, obviously, involving his personal life. But as an individual, I just want him to overcome and see where it goes."
If this doesn't illustrate the NFL's overall problem with domestic violence nothing does. You have a man admitting to beating his wife and still nobody on his team speaking out against it.
What the fuck is wrong with idiots?
