The Cubs came to life in the 9th inning to score 4 runs off of the Giants bullpen. A 9th inning that took 5 Giants pitchers to get 3 outs.
The Cubs up to that point only scratched 2 runs against starter Matt Moore. But Moore exceeded the 100 pitch limit, a made up limit by the way, and had to be removed.
To live by a pitch count limit when there is no guarantee of a tomorrow is beyond idiotic and it ended the Giants season.
