A high school football team from California laid roses at the feet of a cheerleader, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia, as they made their way into the field. She was surprised by the gesture and it makes for an all around feel good story.
Via CBS Sports: The team from Foothill High School in Palo Cedro, Calif., had a special cause to rally around on Friday.
As the team entered the field before its game against Spanish Springs, each player made sure to drop off a rose to cheerleader Ashley Adamietz who, according to KRCR-7, was diagnosed with leukemia last month.
Not your typical story involving a cheerleader and a football team. It is good to see some positivity being spread out there.
