The Broncos Game Plan Was To Take As Many Shots As They Could At Cam Newton's Head

Anyone who watched last night's game could see that Denver's game plan on defense was to deliver as many shots to Cam Newton's head as they could.  If not then it was just a happy coincidence that on every single opportunity to do so that's exactly what they did.

There's no doubt in my mind that was part of the game plan.  The worst part of it was they got away with it.  At least four times while Cam had the ball, not as a runner, he was hit helmet to helmet by a defender.  Of the four obvious shots to the head, only one was flagged.

The one helmet to helmet shot that was penalized was offset by an intentional grounding penalty.  Making it too a free shot at Cam's head.

I'm not going to sit here and say the Panthers lost because of these non-calls, thayou has nothing to do with it.  But you have rules in place for player safety and there are repeated offenses not being flagged.

I'm taking a knee during the National Anthem until Cam gets these calls.

See the repeated shots here.
