Get The Paper Bags Out The Yankees Traded Andrew Miller

The Yankees sent Andrew Miller to the Indians for 4 prospects.  If the Chapman deal wasn't all you needed to know about the Yankees new approach then the Miller trade should be all the education you need.

At 4 1/2 games out of the Wild Card the Yankees new approach is to pack it in and call it a season.  They're the only team in striking distance from a playoff spot that is selling.  It's time for the paper bags.

If you're not getting rid of McCann, Ellsbury or Headley's wasted contracts then what the fuck are you doing?  You're getting rid of high end pitching talent?

The Yankees are going to have some money to spend next season once they're out of Tex's ridiculous contract.  Beltran's a free agent.  Then the next year A-Rod will be gone.

There will be an opportunity to sign a couple of nice free agents.  I don't buy the selling when you're still in reach of the postseason.

The point is to win not sell and pack shit up mid-fucking-season.  Fire Girardi and Cashman!
