Aroldis Chapman Hit 105 MPH Last Night

Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman hit 105 MPH last night.  That tied his own MLB record for the fastest pitch.  He picked up is 19th save as the Yankees once again pulled even at 46-46.

They remain right on the outskirts of playoff contention and may end up selling at the deadline for the first time in a long, long time.  If they do sell they better keep Chapman.

He'll be the most exciting thing left on a shitty team.  And more importantly, I'm heading to New York to catch a couple of games in late August.  One thing I want to see in person is 100+.

Assuming there isn't some sort of incredible run, the Yanks will likely be out of contention by then, but that doesn't mean Girardi's stupid ass can't check with his book and run Chapman out there in a non-save situations.
