Maria Sharapova Has Been Suspended For Two Years For PEDs

According to reports, Maria Sharapova was just slapped with a two year suspension by the International Tennis Federation for her use of PEDs.

Sharapova released a statement following news of her suspension.  In the statement she reveals her plans to appeal the suspension, ESPN:

"I cannot accept an unfairly harsh two-year suspension," Sharapova said. "The tribunal, whose members were selected by the ITF, agreed that I did not do anything intentionally wrong, yet they seek to keep me from playing tennis for two years."

From the looks of it she doesn't want to lose any of her prime years.  She wants to get back out there ASAP to get dominated by the Williams sisters.
