Dave Roberts Pulled A Rookie With A No Hitter In The 8th Inning

Dodgers rookie pitcher Ross Stripling had a no hitter in the 8th inning of his major league debut.  That's when he hit the magical 100 pitches and rookie manager Dave Roberts took him out.

Such a Joe Girardi move.

The Giants proceeded to break up the team no hitter with a game tying two run homerun.  Roberts then was ejected for arguing balls and strikes.

If only Roberts would have been ejected before the inning started.  He's lucky I don't own the Dodgers because I would have fired his sorry ass on the spot.

Then again I wouldn't have gotten rid of Donnie Baseball.
